Chalmers Johnson

author of MITI and the Japanese Miracle, Japan scholar, and so-called Japan revisionist has died at 79 years of age. James Fallows has a short obituary at The Atlantic.

    RIP. I have his last four of books on my "to read" list. Shame that no one who had/has an opportuntity to change anything in American foreign policy ever paid any attention to him.

  2. The last one I read was "Blowback." At the time, I thought it was a bit over-the-top. Now I am not so sure.
