When I left this morning for a bike ride along the Tama River, it was still reasonably warm---about 12 degrees. By the time I got halfway on my planned 50 mile ride, it had turned cloudy and cold. It really screwed up plans I had for some early season training and made it mostly just an endurance ride.
This year has definitely been colder than the last few. A check of my cycling journals easily shows that. Of course, to say it is cold in Tokyo is a bit of an exaggeration, as cold here isn't really cold.
